In home newborn lifestyle photography session Fresno, CA

The Wright Family Becomes Four {In home newborn lifestyle session outside of Fresno}

I adore photographing a family as they welcome a little brother or sister into the family. It's a time of excitement and curiosity for the older sibling. And definitely a huge change in life for mom and dad as they adjust to being parents of more than one. But as chaotic as this time can be it's also one so worth remembering through beautiful photographs. The beauty in the special bond between baby and each family member is one that can't easily be put into words, but it sure does manifest through images. I live for sessions like these. Newborns with their family, settling in and getting acquainted with one another. The love is so abundant and so visible. What a dream for a motherhood photographer like myself!

Goodbye Summer { Fresno Family Photography Session }

Goodbye Summer...

Fresnofamilyphotographer

Goodbye Summer...goodbye long days and warm nights. We will miss your golden grass and carefree spirit. Grateful to have portraits of motherhood like these that embody the way summer makes us feel.

Annie is the creator of the popular blog, The Real Housewife of Fresno  and mommy to two beautiful girls. We decided to shoot their family photographs at a beautiful spot outside of Fresno as summer was coming to a close. Working with this sweet tight knit family was so easy and fun. They're gorgeous, fun, joyful and pretty much any photographers dream! The golden fields really shine on Fuji 400H film stock...shooting families on this film never gets old. I can't wait to photograph them again in the future!

New Goals For the New Year

New Goals For the New Year

With the start of a new year comes reflection on the past. For me that inevitably brings desire to make changes and adjustments to my personal and professional life.  As I think about what I can improve upon in my business there's one thing that always comes to mind but I can never seem to follow through on...blogging! It's hard to carve out time each week to curate my favorite images from past sessions and create a thoughtful blog post. I started with one post over eighteen months ago and never actually posted again until yesterday! But I realize there are so many gorgeous sessions I would love to share on my website and submit to my favorite blogs and magazines so it's time to get serious and dedicate a little time each month to accomplish this elusive goal. I figured why not kick off this new goal with sharing a few behind the scenes pictures of my workspace at home!  I'm so fortunate to have a beautiful space to work in that is flooded with natural light all day and illuminated with the last golden rays of light at sunset. In a house full of boys, Tonka trucks and Lego's it's nice to have my little feminine sanctuary to be inspired in and finally be blogging favorite sessions from! Soon I'll create a blog post with more pictures of my office and where I bought everything along with a few tips on how I've managed to organize my space despite having toddlers running through the space every day! Subscribe below so you can stay updated when that post is published!

Maternity Session at The Serenbe in Georgia

Maternity Session at the Beautiful Inn at Serenbe in GA

A first time mom, Molly was glowing with the anticipation of the upcoming birth of her baby girl. Photographing expecting moms is a passion of mine back home in the Fresno, CA area so it was a real treat to photograph this mom at a beautiful spot in the countryside outside Atlanta, GA while attending a workshop hosted by the Fount Collective.  Working with Molly was effortless and I couldn't be more thrilled with the images we created together!

Family Session at the Inn at Serenbe, Georgia

I spent the week with amazing photographers of motherhood at an inn outside of Atlanta, GA. Photographing moms and their children is one of my favorite things to do back home in the Fresno, CA area so it was a special treat to have several beautiful family portrait sessions arranged at the Serenbe. I loved every minute of my time there! Here is a look at one of my favorite shoots during my time there. This mom was stunning and the bond she shared with her daughter was incredibly lovely to watch. Add to that a baby goat and I was in heaven!
